St. Patrick’s Day Parade

March 11, 2023
Midtown Atlanta
9:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Atlanta’s St. Patrick’s parade – started by the city’s Hibernian Benevolent Society (a Catholic and Protestant fraternal organization) – dates back to 1858, making it one of the country’s oldest.

Join your fellow parade revelers and runners for the Official 8th Annual St. Patrick’s Parade 5K! Run or walk before one of the country’s oldest St. Patrick’s Parades, the route begins and finishes on Peachtree Road and winds through Midtown, Piedmont Park, and finishes on the parade route on historic Peachtree Street! This unique race and lively post-race parade are not to be missed.

The 5K starts and finishes in front of Fado’s Pub Midtown on Peachtree St. 1 free beer for 21 and over participants when finished. DJ, beer, and snacks leading up to the parade right in front of the pub!

Luck of the Square

Round up your lads and lassies and join us on the luckiest day of the year! Enjoy premium views of the Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Parade plus the official post-party in The Plaza.

Calling all lads, lassies, and little leprechauns! Join us on Friday, March 17th as we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Avalon style at Luck of Avalon. Get ready to sham-ROCK the night away in the Plaza with special performances, live music, Irish flair + of course, green beer!

Irish Fest

Skin Alley, Norcross

The City of Norcross is excited to announce a collaboration with the Historic Norcross Business Association and the Drake School of Irish Dance to bring you a St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Saturday, March 18th at Skin Alley from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Downtown Merchants will be offering Irish-themed activities and fare to mark the occasion and outside you will find music, dancing, face painting, a balloon twister, tastings, and more! Downtown specials will last all day, so stop into your favorite shops and restaurants anytime for a festive treat.
