Lake Lanier Islands
Whether you are spending the day, the night, the weekend, or the whole week… Lanier Islands has plenty of activities to entertain you, your friends, and your family! Enjoy 4 nights of Fireworks over the beach (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday), or spend some time at Game Changer for Axe Throwing, Virtual Sports, and Arcade Games. Tee up at our award-winning golf course, stop in for one of our dining events, rent a boat, or add tickets to the water park for splashing the day away in the sun. If relaxation is what you crave then book a massage at Tranquility Spa or lounge by the pool with an ice-cold beverage and stay for a dive-in movie at night. View the activities flyer here.
Centennial Olympic Park
The largest metropolitan fireworks show in America is back on Saturday, July 1, headlined by a special performance by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
This is a ticketed event.
Attendees to “Look Up Atlanta” will be able to tailor their visit to the Park’s fireworks spectacular from two options being offered: general admission or a new VIP experience offering amazing amenities and premium viewing locations. Check back often for more information on event activities and entertainment.

If you were lucky enough to register for the 60,000+ person race, you may want to check out this unofficial guide to race. If you aren’t running or walking in this year’s race, you can join the more than 150,000 spectators to cheer on your racer along the Peachtree Road racecourse, then meet them in Piedmont Park to celebrate their completion.
In addition to the list above, many local communities will host 4th of July celebrations. We have broken them down by county. Check the sites linked for official dates and descriptions!
