October Fall Activities: OTP North

Do you live OTP? Specifically north OTP? Here’s a list of fun family activities to bring on Fall this October!

Woodstock

Downtown Woodstock Scarecrow Walk (All  of October)
One of our kids favorite things to do is to go to downtown Woodstock and walk around to look at all of the scarecrows. Local businesses decorate scarecrows, and they have fun doing it. They are usually decorated in some theme that goes along with the type of business. We always take pictures of the boys sitting by our favorites!

Berry Patch Farms (All of October)

A fun place to go for pumpkins, hayrides, apple cider, homemade fried pies, boiled peanuts, popcorn, a playground, and baby farm animals! Get out and enjoy the fall weather with the whole family!

  1. I discovered a sweet little farm in the Woodstock/Canton area – it’s called Big Springs Farm and it was a great alternative to the sometimes crowded Berry Patch Farms. (it’s about 15 minutes away from Berry Patch)

It has a hay ride, a corn maze, cute picture spot places, and lots of varieties of pumpkins. Since it’s smaller, it was less crowded and there’s no fee for parking. We loved it!
