National Housewife’s Day – Who Knew?

National Housewife’s Day is celebrated each year on November 3rd. I know what you are probably thinking. You never heard of such a day. I know…me neither. Either way housewives deserve to be celebrated each day.

They are making a sacrifice for their children and their families. Stay-at-home moms are busy taking care of their children and home 24/7. There are never ending tasks to complete each day such as dishes, cooking, and do not get me started on the never ending chore of laundry.

There are no built in breaks, lunch breaks, vacation days, sick time or paid time off from the job of housewife. A little appreciation will go a long way. Observe the holiday by saying a simple thank you to a housewife you know. Maybe it is your own mother, grandmother or wife you wish to celebrate. Use #NationalHousewifesDay on social media to celebrate the housewife in your family or that you know would appreciate a little extra shout out.
