Barn Hill Tree Farm

At Barn Hill Tree Farm, you don’t just buy a Christmas tree, you begin a tradition of family memories that last a lifetime.

Enjoy free hot chocolate while walking thru beautiful trees seeking your special family tree. You can cut your own tree or our friendly staff will assist you. Either way, we provide the saw and will help you ready your tree for the journey home. But before you leave, spend time around our open fire pit making smores and roasting marshmallows, enjoying the outdoors of North Georgia! Plan to arrive early for the best selection of trees, giving yourself time to enjoy the farm and spend time relaxing, taking photos, and making great family memories.

Berry’s Tree Farm

Our goal at Berry’s Tree Farm is to create a family tradition and expose our growing population to an agricultural environment. We offer many activities in order to set ourselves apart from a retail Christmas tree lot or big-box store. We have numerous activities including train rides, a petting zoo, a concession stand, and pictures with Santa to name a few. We make fresh wreaths and other decorations as an added treat to everyone’s holiday adventure.

We have been very fortunate to participate in the Trees For Troops program as a pick-up point for many years. Our trees have been featured in numerous movies and films, adorned the Georgia State Capitol and Governor’s Mansion, and been an integral part of the Christmas display at Stone Mountain Park near Atlanta.

Trees are priced per foot, and the average chosen and cut tree ranges from $50-$75.

Hunters’ Christmas Tree Farm

Hunters’ Christmas Tree Farm has been a family tradition for over 30 years. Choose and Cut your own Tree from our Leyland field. Come start a new tradition and join us at Hunters’ Christmas Tree Farm this year.

  • Leyland Cypress,  in the field-Starting at $7 a foot (Prices increase according to height and tree grade).
  • Fresh-cut Fraser Firs – Starting at $10 a foot (Prices increase according to height and tree grade).
  • A variety of Wreaths // White Pine Garlands// Fraser Fir Garlands // Tree Stands and supplies are also available.

  • Santa will be at the farm on Nov. 25th, Nov. 26th, and Dec. 3rd from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
  • Pony Rides – will be at the farm on Nov. 25th and Nov. 26th, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Note: The shortage of Christmas Trees continues.  We have over 800 Frasier Fir Trees on order. In our choose and cut field, we have over 150 Leyland Cypress trees 5-15 ft tall.

Kinsey Family Farm

Beginning the weekend before Thanksgiving the Kinsey Family Farm opens the gates for what we feel is one of the finest times of the year! The winter season, and the holiday traditions and joy that accompany it, were the driving force behind the redevelopment of the farm.

We invite you to come roast marshmallows, drink hot chocolate, and listen to holiday music with us at the barn. Once you have warmed your insides sufficiently you can take a wagon ride out to the fields to begin your quest for the perfect Christmas tree.

During the upcoming season, we will have a plethora of Christmas trees available throughout the farm for families to choose from!  We offer a multitude of ways to harvest a Christmas tree including choosing and cutting your own, pre-cut, and living trees in containers. It will quite likely require some firm family decision-making to find the right tree! We feel like we have a various selection of trees again this year. We have Leyland Cypress four to ten feet tall. There is also another Cypress tree we are transitioning to and that is the Murray Cypress. We have several of those to choose from as well up to about 9ft and they are similar to Leylands. Our Virginia Pines are also available for sale and go up in height to about 9 feet.

We hope to have some especially nice fresh-cut Fir trees from 5 to about 8 feet tall.

We’ll offer hayrides through the farm during the Christmas season.

Pick and cut your tree for the perfect place you have in mind. Our Christmas tree varieties include Virginia Pine, Cedar, Leyland Cypress, Blue Ice, $40.00 and up, and the Pre-cut Fraser Fir fresh from Virginia. Pick out a tree from $65.00 and up. 

Sugarland Tree Farm is a third-generation family-friendly Christmas tree farm. We are conveniently located approximately 30 minutes south of Atlanta, Georgia.

Thompson’s Tree Farm

At Thompson’s Tree Farm, you don’t just buy a Christmas tree, you begin a tradition for your family that will provide a lifetime of memories.

We are reopening on November 19th, 2022, with freshly cut Christmas trees by appointment only. Unfortunately due to the business transition, this year we don’t have Wreath, garland, a gift shop, Fraser fir, or petting zoo. We will try to bring them back next year. Our tree prices start at $26 and are based on their height and fullness.

Natalie has been married to her college sweetheart for 15 years and before children they traveled as much as their work schedules would allow. After working as a financial manager for six years, she welcomed her first son in 2010 and began a journey as a stay-at-home mom.
