I love to read. I have shared my love of reading in the previous posts, “Why Every Mom Should Join a Book Club” and “Reading Before Bed– My Daily Bit of Self-Care,” so it should come as no surprise that I jumped on the opportunity to share my top summer reads just for moms. I try to make a point of reading at least a few pages each day, and most of my friends are also readers. When I asked friends and family for suggestions of books to include, they did not hesitate to send me ALL their favorites!

I’ve recently tried audiobooks myself, using the library’s Libby app, and have found it to be a fun way to “read” while walking the dog, doing chores around the house, or sitting on the porch swing. Check out your local library’s website to see what audiobooks they have available if you are interested in trying out this option, but unsure whether you are ready to spend money on it.
What tops your list of summer reads? Despite having (literally!) 44 books on my “to be read” list, I’m always looking for more suggestions!
