Chattahoochee Coffee Company

The Chattahoochee Coffee Company has three locations, all equally cozy but the one on Akers Mill Road is tucked back in an apartment complex and sits right on the edge of the Chattahoochee. Don’t be confused if you come to an apartment gate; there is a code for the coffee shop on the menu to get in! The coffee is delicious but the atmosphere tops it all off. There is outdoor seating, beautiful views of the river, and a huge lawn if you are toting your little ones along with you. With the cooler weather coming and all of us craving outdoor time, this could be your new morning hangout.

Westside: 790 Huff Road, Atlanta

Riverside: 2281 Akers Mill Road SE, Atlanta

The Eddy: 6255 Riverview Road, Smryna

The Read Shop

This little gem is found in Vinings Station, which if you have never been, has some of the cutest shops and restaurants to check out! Though The Read Shop does not have a ton of indoor seating, it has books galore to peruse while you enjoy your coffee. The walls are lined with everything from cookbooks to bestsellers to my personal favorite, children’s books. The Read Shop is always my coffee shop of choice around the holidays to find some special gifts. So if you have your little one with you, grab a children’s book and a coffee and find a place to enjoy each other!

Location:

4300 Paces Ferry Rd SE Ste 125, Atlanta, GA 30339

The Chastain

This building that is perched on the edge of Chastain Park has housed general stores, a barbeque joint, and the nationally recognized restaurant, The Horseradish Grill. When the new owners took over in 2020 they gave it a facelift and it is just as cozy as ever. The Chastian’s large stone firepit is situated in the middle of a circle of Adirondack chairs, perfect for snuggling up with something warm in your hand. The location is also great because with the park right across the street, you can grab a coffee to go and stroll with a friend. There is also no doubt that their beautiful pastries will catch your eye at the counter.

Location:

4320 Powers Ferry Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30342

Sessions Stand

If Fall makes you want to stroll historic neighborhoods while the leaves float down and stare at the holiday decorations, this special spot is the place for you. Sessions Stand is tucked back into the historic Downtown Marrietta Neighborhood and with its walk-up window and umbrella-covered deck, it is sure to steal your heart and fill your stomach. Their seasonal drinks are always so much fun, including the pumpkin pie dirty chai and the campfire cherry mocha, and their homemade pastries are delicious. There is a public park right down the street where your little one can play or pop them in the stroller for a walk around the stunning neighborhood!

Location:

380 Sessions Street, Marietta, GA 30060

Fellows Cafe

This precious cafe is an excellent choice if you are looking to linger a little longer and have a bite to eat. This is obviously what we all want to do this time of year as the temps drop and the leaves are changing! Set in an old Victorian house in Roswell, inside or out, the whole place screams cozy. Their outdoor seating is a great spot to catch up with a friend or even split a sourdough cinnamon roll with your kids for a sweet outing.

Location:

1088 Green Street, Roswell, Georgia, 30075
