2017 Summer Camp Guide

Summer is going to be here before you know it, and we know planning for summer is at the top of moms’ lists before the school year ends. So we wanted to give you a head start and are hoping to make summer planning as easy as possible! We hope this guide helps you plan for a fun, stress-free summer.

Type of Camp: STEAM
Ages: 5 (completed kindergarten) – 12 years old
Dates: We accommodate any school’s summer break schedule.

Description: Join Children’s Learning Adventure for their awesome Mad Science Summer Camp. Each week, campers will engage in lessons related to our Mad Summer Science theme packed with exciting activities, crafts, games, sports, field trips, and so much more! Mad Summer Science Camp is all-inclusive with no hidden fees! We also offer flexible scheduling so you only pay for the weeks your child attends!

Description: Aussie Kids summer golf camps offer kids ages 4 to 17 the opportunity to learn the game of golf, starting with the fundamentals. With a program that is designed for fun and enjoyment and a focus on the love of the game, the summer camps consists of learning all aspects of the game including the rules of the game, the exciting history of golf and practicing new skills. Our state of the art indoor facility allows them to play rain or shine! Half day and full day options are available.

Description: Atlanta Dance Central offers a variety of summer camps for beginner – advanced dancers ages 2.5 and up. Our themed kinder and youth camps include dancing, crafts, reading, games, and tons of fun! For older students we offer camps to help strengthen technique over the summer in styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, and aerial dance.

Description: We have swimming classes in our pool (lifeguard on duty), canoeing and paddle boating on our three acre lake, shooting bows at our two archery ranges and playing all sorts of sports in between. In our craft cabin, we construct products of clay, wood and other natural materials. In our woods, we build forts as we enjoy the abundance of the nature that surrounds us.. All activities are staffed by fun, energetic school teachers and college students with a camper to counselor ratio of 12:1!

Description: Explore, Imagine & Create this summer w/ Acting, Musical Theater & Dance camps w/ Musical Theater Center & Once Upon a Ballet! Your youngest superstar can go for a swim under the sea or join us for a cold, winter tale while your ballerinas can put on their Tiny Tutus for some Princess Ballet & Pinkalicious adventures. Older Campers can work on their Improv, Acting & Singing skills, perform a full show in James & the Giant Peach, JR, or dance with American Girl or Little Mermaid. Loads of fun!

Description: iD Tech offers courses in programming, video game design, robotics, virtual reality, 3D modeling/printing, filmmaking, photography, and more. Camps include hands-on, personalized technology instruction and a variety of fun summer camp activities. iD Tech courses are led by tech-savvy staff in a dynamic, pressure-free learning environment. In Georgia, we offer Atlanta summer camps held at Emory University and Georgia Tech and Alpharetta summer camps held at Fulton Science Academy.

Description: Held during school breaks throughout the year, Safari Day Camps provide a fun and exciting opportunity to learn about animals and nature in a spectacular outdoor environment. A typical day at Camp includes up-close animal encounters, exclusive tours, arts and crafts, hands-on learning, animal shows and feedings, keeper talks, educational videos. At Safari Day Camps, campers experience Zoo Atlanta in a whole new way and form a connection to animals and the Zoo that last a lifetime.

Description: Buttercup STEAM Camp is a unique 5-day adventure for girls to learn, build and code in a fun and supportive environment. Campers work hands-on creating Steampunk themed projects that incorporate elements of STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics). Each girl will be able take home their robotic creation.

Monday-Wednesday camp that will include 1 hour on instruction and 2 hours of on-course play and instruction with LPGA member Abigale Schepperle.
