It is officially spooky season! The leaves are turning shades of orange and red, the temperature is slowly getting cooler, and several Halloween-themed bars have popped up around the city. Whether you are a huge fan of Halloween or just looking for a unique night out, these venues offer the perfect backdrop for some Instagrammable memories.

Mercantile Social, Hocus Pocus Pop-Up Bar, Alpharetta
“Amuck, Amuck, Amuck”! As an elder millennial who loves Hocus Pocus, I am looking forward to this pop-up! They have a full-themed drink menu inspired by the Sanderson Sisters in the “Book of Spirits”. I think my drink of choice will be the “Black Flame Candle” an enchanting tequila cocktail. Grab a few cocktails and grab a meal in downtown Alpharetta. No reservations are required!
Location: 20 North Main Street, Alpharetta, GA, USA
Dates: September 5 – November 2, Tuesdays through Saturdays, after 5 pm
Prices: Drinks range from $8 to $20.
Kid Friendly?: Select days and times, you can bring the family. On weeknights and before 9 pm, those under 21 can be seated at a table, kids are not allowed at the bar. Friday/Saturday after 9 pm they are 21 and up.
Amore e Amore, Nightmare on Highland, Inman Park
Enjoy wickedly delicious Italian food, Halloween decor, and themed cocktails/mocktails all season long. Make a reservation and enjoy a fun night out.

Dates: September – October 31, Tuesdays – Thursdays & Sundays, 5-10 pm, Friday – Saturday, 5-11 pm.

Kid Friendly?: They have a kids beverage section on the menu and I saw no age restrictions for visiting the restaurant. On October 26 they have family-friendly Halloween festivities.
Blind Pig Parlour, The Wicked Pig Halloween Bar, Atlanta
“Eat, drink, and be Scary” at the Wicked Pig. The Bling Pig speakeasy has been transformed into a Halloween cocktail experience. They have a menu of cocktails, savory bites, and sweet treats. They have so many cocktails to choose from I don’t think you’ll be able to choose just one.

Dates: September 20 – November 4, Wednesday – Sunday 5 pm to 10 pm
Prices: Drinks range from $4 to $16 per glass.
Kid Friendly: Nope, this one is only for the over 21 crowd.

Haunted Underground Atlanta, Underground Atlanta
Check out Atlanta’s first Haunted Bar. There are two sessions available to purchase, 8 pm – 11 pm and 11 pm – 4 am. Experience an immersive haunted bar experience. Ticket required and costumes encouraged.

Rreal Tacos, Halloween Bar, Multiple Locations around Atlanta
This just in! All Rreal Tacos locations are fully decorated for Halloween and have added 3 Halloween cocktails to their menu: Zombie Punch, La Catrina, and Witches Brew. Grab some tacos, enjoy the ambiance, and a Halloween Cocktail.
Location: Midtown, West Midtown, Sandy Springs, Chamblee, Cumming, Sugar Hill, and Buckhead
Dates: October 1 – 31 st
Prices: Halloween cocktails are listed as $12 – $13.
Kid Friendly?: Yes, this is a family-friendly Restaurant/Bar, family friendly dining in the main restaurant area. I have not seen the décor, so no sure if it might be a lil scary for the under 7 crowd.
Chattahoochee Food Works, The Spookeasy Cocktail Bar, Atlanta
The Spookeasy is back at Chattahoochee Food Works. Located on the enclosed patio at The Works. The Spookeasy will serve themed cocktails all month long. Free entry for general admission

Dates: All of October, first date listed on the event calendar is October 10th. Open every Thursday – Sunday starting at 5pm.

Kid Friendly?: Not listed. But, you can pop in, grab a cocktail and then sit with the family in any of the open seating areas at the works. The whole facility is usually decorated for Halloween.
