Do you have K-Pop music fans at home?
Have your kids been newly introduced to K-Pop?
This summer, if your kids have fallen in love with the colorful, high-energy world of K-Pop Demon Hunters on Netflix, you’re not alone. The movie’s blend of catchy music, vibrant visuals, and action-packed adventures has captured the attention of a lot of young viewers over the summer (and a few parents, too). If you are unfamiliar, the movie also has positive themes of friendship, teamwork, and self-acceptance. There’s a focus on the K-pop world and the characters’ dedication to their music and their fans. While the movie is rated PG, it does have some scary elements and violence that may be frightening for younger viewers. Whether you choose to skip watching the movie, the trending music from HUNTR/X and Saja Boys can be heard on the radio and is so catchy that it’s sure to make you sing and dance.
But what if you could take that excitement beyond the radio and the TV screen and into real life? Just outside Atlanta is the “Seoul of the South,” which has the largest Korean population in Georgia.
