There’s nothing better than taking the time to appreciate art in Atlanta. With a Savannah College of Art and Design campus downtown, it’s no surprise our town is booming with gorgeous wall art and murals all around the city and beyond.
We searched out a few areas to visit to get that Instagram-worthy mural shot and to enjoy the sights and take in the talents of local Atlanta artists. You can pretty much pick any Atlanta neighborhood and stumble upon gorgeous murals and fun backgrounds for awesome photos.
Below is a list of some of the fun and beautiful wall art and murals we found in and around Atlanta.
Krog Street Tunnel and surrounding areas
1 Krog St NE, Atlanta, GA 30307
Krog Street Tunnel is definitely the place to go for some epic, artsy photoshoots. The tunnel is brought to life by local artists! You’ll also find art murals decorating the streets and beltline nearby. This whole area is a wall mural playground. There is so much wall art and statues dispersed throughout the area, you won’t be disappointed in the Krog District.
The Beltline
The Beltline hosts multiple types of artists from muralists to performing artists. You never know what you may stumble upon during your stroll down The Beltline! Below are a couple of murals we came across on our walk.
Blue Wall

We originally hit this area to get a shot of the gorgeous inside courtroom at the Bellyard Hotel but we ended up coming upon a few different murals that were just as fun in the area!

We didn’t mean to stumble upon this one but when we did, I couldn’t help but laugh and get a little silly. You can find this wall near the entrance to Putt Shack in West Midtown.

Near Downtown Atlanta in the Castleberry Hill Neighborhood of Atlanta, this stunning mural celebrating women of color is bright, beautiful, and inspiring. You can find it at Peter Street Station.
