While I love breakfast in bed, my favorite Mother’s Day presents are the personalized crafts, poems, and artwork my kids make for me. The sentimental ones I will always keep and often make me laugh. Like this year, my daughter filled out a questionnaire and stated, “my mom’s favorite thing to do”… and she put… “watch TV while folding clothes.” Ha, I mean, she isn’t wrong if the question was “what is your mom’s favorite household chore.” Binge-watching a good TV show makes tackling that pile of clean clothes a bit more tolerable. I think a more accurate answer would have been “drink wine, play tennis, and snuggle” but it’s fun seeing their perspective of you as a mom and a person.
Did you notice Mother’s Day is positioned during the school year which means the dads have teachers to help with these cute crafts moms love? Well played, dads, well played. So for all the busy moms out there managing summer activities with no time to be creative, we have you covered!
Free Father’s Day Printables
Help make Father’s Day a bit more sentimental by checking out the printables below.
First up is the Father’s Day Questionnaire. No matter the age, I always love the answers they come up with. From the super young ones saying that Daddy’s job is “talking on the phone” or “going to meetings“, to the slightly older ones mentioning that the phrase that Dad says the most is, “Get off your iPad!“, the answers never disappoint.
We also created a Father’s Day badge. Just print it out and the kids can decorate it any way they want. Add “Best Daddy Ever”, “World’s Best Griller”, “Greatest Fixer”, whatever they want!
Bonus: These printables will keep your kids busy for about 19 minutes of your day, so go enjoy a quick cup of hot coffee while they are entertained!
