Goodbye, winter, and hello spring! Now is the perfect time of year to awaken your family’s senses from a cold slumber and get your artistic juices warmed up with these unique Atlanta attractions!

Adventure Cubs – Zoo Atlanta  – Little ones will learn about an animal in a variety of creative ways, and then will visit that animal in its habitat. Afterward, try out their customized, self-guided scavenger hunt. (Select dates, March 2 – May 16)

Beauty and the Beast – You remember the classic movie from the 90s – now you can share the stage version with your kids at City Springs Theatre. (March 8-24)

Woodruff Arts Center’s Toddler Takeover – Does your baby have personality plus? Treat them to a weekend of stage, art, and music with Bernhardt Theatre for the Very Young, High Museum of Art, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and more.  (March 16-17)

Prismatica In The Park Come see this installation with pivoting prisms that create a kaleidoscope effect both day and night. Feel free to touch and spin them to experiment with the light and chimes. (Now through March 17)

Dinosaur Drone and Light Show – As part of Stone Mountain’s Dino Fest, this demonstration includes 250 colorful drones creating formations in the sky, while synced up to music. Stay for the parade and 4D movie too! (Select dates, March 16 – April 28)

Fairy Tale Forest Festival – All things fanciful, such as building fairy houses, tree climbing, visits with fairy tale characters, arts and crafts, retellings of Rapunzel, The Frog Prince, magic shows, and more! (March 23)

The Fox Family Theatre – Check out the tempting upcoming offerings at this iconic venue, including Shrek (April 6-7), Disney Princess – The Concert (April 13), and Wild Kratts Live 2.0: Activate Creature Power! (May 5).

Balloon Museum – Located at Pullman Yards, this exhibit contains many different types of inflatables and is “hands-on!” Experience the talents of 18 different artists as you float your way through this limited-time attraction. (Now through April 14)

Harlem Globetrotters – It’s non-stop action! Be amazed at the trick shots and entertained by the hilarity of this one-of-a-kind basketball team. There are VIP opportunities available too.  (April 7)

Outside the Box – Children’s Museum – Remember when you bought your children an expensive gift and they only wanted to play with the box? Well, that’s now a museum exhibit!  Build, draw, read, and dress up together.  (Now through May 5)

Disney’s The Little Mermaid at Camp Atlanta – Be a part of Ariel’s world! Explore throne rooms and grottos, watch magic, music, and comedy shows, and do a little shopping too! (Weekends only)
