National Pizza Day is on Sunday, February 9, 2020. If you ask me, it’s one of the best days of the year. The best way to celebrate the day is by enjoying a slice or maybe even a whole pie. Here are some ways to celebrate:
1. Make a homemade pizza
My boys and I love making homemade pizza. There are so many great recipes for making the dough. However, if making your pizza from scratch is not your thing. You can use a pre-made crust. Many grocery stores sell pre-made dough and crusts.
2. Use a pre-made pizza kit
My favorite kit is Publix’s pre-made pizza kits. There’s a large pepperoni, a cheese pizza, and even a mini pizzas kit. The mini pizza kit is perfect for children. My oldest son loves pepperoni while my middle child loves cheese pizza, so having a pizza kit that can be used for different kinds of pizza is great.
3. Dine-In
If you’re not in the mood for making your own pizza, why not go to a restaurant? There are tons of different pizza restaurants to choose from. You can get Pizza Hut, Dominoes, Jet’s Pizza, and Little Caesars. If you’re in the Smyrna/Vinings area, check out Bella’s Pizzeria, Newk’s Eatery, DaVinci’s of Smyrna, Uncle Maddio’s Pizza, and Johnny’s New York Style Pizza. My personal favorite pizza restaurant is the Marietta Pizza Company. If you decide to dine in or order take out, do a little research before visiting your favorite restaurant. Many restaurants often offer deals and discounts to celebrate National Pizza Day.
4. Order Take-Out
If you prefer to enjoy your pizza at your home, order some pizza for delivery or get your pizza to-go. Many of the restaurants listed above offer delivery.
Well, there you have it. Some easy ways to celebrate an amazing day.
