Indoor Playgrounds In and Around Atlanta

While we have seen some warm days with the indiscriminate weather patterns this winter, it is safe to say we have seen our share of frigid temperatures too.

No matter what the forecast says, kids are ready to play and there are several indoor playgrounds in and around Atlanta to take kids in these chilly months to burn off some energy.

Offering a large open space with bounce equipment and opportunities for climbing, sliding, running, and jumping, they also include a toddler-only area with fun toys away from the bigger kids.


Children’s Museum of Atlanta
Downtown Atlanta

Supported by volunteers and donors, the expansive Children’s Museum offers enrichment and play for children ages 0-8 through their play exhibits including “Gateway to the World,” “Fundamentally Food,” “Step up to Science,”  “Leaping into Learning,” among others.


Skyzone Atlanta 
Northlake/Tucker

Near Northlake Mall, Skyzone offers kids a place to test limits and push physical abilities with a ninja course, extreme dodgeball, battle beams, wall jumps, and more.


Oodazu
Buckhead

Offering drop-in and drop-off play (potty trained required for drop-off), Oodazu caters to kids ages 3 to 9 with bounce houses, climbing walls, virtual reality, ping pong, and basketball.


Legoland Discovery Center 
Buckhead

Legoland has a ton of amazing Lego activities, including the home of LEGO® play, where you and your family can create your own adventures with over two million bricks.


Boomerang 
Midtown

Located near Piedmont Park, kids can enjoy the robot-themed massive play structure, junior ninja warrior course, digital ball wall, inflatable slide, and an interactive toddler area for guests 4 and under.


TKT Playtime Inflata Park
Decatur

The largest inflata park in the state of Georgia! Its 20,000 sqft building in Decatur, GA offers several main attractions such as The Toddler Zone, Obstacle Course, and Moon Bounce, along with Lasar Tag, Nerf Wars, an arcade, and massage chairs for the parents.

Designed for kids up to age 8 (but up to 12 years can play!), the indoor playground is well-contained so parents can sit nearby and also features a digital art and sandbox area using technology to spark the imagination.

A self-proclaimed “prehistoric playground” with inflatables, soft play structures, and climbing equipment is a popular favorite.


Mall of Georgia

Located on the mall’s lower level near Dick’s Sporting Goods, this play space has an area dedicated to toddlers ages 2 to 5, with the main space for ages 5 to 10. It includes interactive technology, educational elements, and active play opportunities – including a crawl path, jungle walk with moving pods, bouncing, and more!


Billy Beez

Hosting a wide range of kids from ages 1-17 (with a Mini Beez area dedicated to babies and toddlers), the play park includes sports courts, ball blasters trampolines, tunnels, and slides.


Buddy’s Play and Parties

As part of their play space, Buddy’s features kids driving track, educational games, developmental toys, books, and imaginative play designed for ages 6 months to 6 years.

Wiggle Giggle is a family owned and operated indoor playground and party center located in Marietta, Georgia. Wiggle Giggle is for children ages 0 – 12 and they can learn through hands-on discovery, role playing, physical activity and parent/child interaction. Parents can play with their children on play structures or relax and talk to other grown ups while watching their children explore.
