  • Cake Decorating – Frost AND sing with Cake & Sip‘s karaoke experience.
  • Calligraphy – Help save the art of proper penmanship while enjoying a cocktail at Sip & Script.
  • Dance – I visited Dance It Off with a friend last summer, and spun way outside my comfort zone with Cardio Funk. They’ve got tap, line dancing, and Barbells and Abs too.
  • FishingRiver Through Atlanta will “lure” you to the best catches on the ‘Hooch.
  • Fragrances – Mix it up at Urthy Scents with labs for face masks, body glow and glitter, body butter, or whipped and artisan soaps.
  • Fused Glass –  I spent many weeks in reflection at Spruill Center for the Arts, and have cabinets full of plates and bowls to prove it.
  • Gardening –  Plot your next patch at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and turn that brown thumb green.
  • Gymnastics – At almost 6 feet tall, I don’t think this is my calling, but I’d love to be able to do a back flip on command. Test your flexibility at the Marcus Jewish Community Center.
  • Improv –  With three years of community theatre under my belt, I can’t recommend enough the confidence this builds, and the fun you will have. Check out the schedule at Dad’s Garage to flex your star power!
  • Kickboxing – My daughter took classes at X3 Sports – I’ve also been a student at RockBox.  It sure does feel good to punch something when you are having a bad day.
  • Music – Find more harmony in your life at Highland Music Studio. Your dreams of playing the drums or ukulele can come true here.
  • Pickleball – You can’t ignore the pickleball craze forever…Atlanta Pickleball wants to help you catch up with the times.
  • Pizza Making – I surprised my husband with a visit to Atlanta Pizza Truck‘s home kitchen for his birthday. Enjoy a private lesson and dinner surrounded by their beautiful ovens.
  • Rug Tufting  – With a name so clever, how can you resist? The Tuftest Class in Town may inspire your home’s next statement piece.
  • Sewing – My son rips his pants while skateboarding all the time, and I do my best to mend them. But, imagine if I went to Fabricate Studios and learned how to get it right the first time.
  • Skating – My TikTok algorithm has found the skaters who roll in unison with dance moves and tricks – it’s pretty impressive. Get a good workout and go old school at RollerFit.
  • Soccer – Atlanta just hosted the Club World Cup, so soccer fans are on the rise. The Sons of Pitches invite beginners to go toe-to-toe with other budding footballers.
  • Succulent Terrariums –  These may be the only plants I can’t kill. Say “aloe” to The Sipping Plant, and unearth your eye for robust arrangements.
  • Tennis – The last time I played tennis, I broke my foot. But, don’t let that discourage you from signing up at Sandy Springs Raquet Center and cure your ALTA FOMO.
  • Yoga – I am all about namaste – consider this your invitation to join me at my favorite studio, PeakZen.  There’s something for everyone, including prenatal yoga and step classes.
