How I Took Back Tuesday Night with Eat Dinner Club
My name is Amanda and I’m a mom of two rambunctious four-year-olds. Here’s what my Tuesday night looks like…
3:45: Pick up twins from preschool and wait patiently while they buckle themselves in.
4:00: Drive to gymnastics and discuss Van Gogh’s finer works OR who pooped at school today.
4:15: Change into leotards (my favorite part 🙄).
4:30: Watch my future non-Olympians jump, roll and bobble around for an hour.
5:30: Get dressed and buckle back into the car.
6:00: Figure out what I’m going to feed these starving monsters before the bath time and bedtime routine begins.
I DON’T want to cook.
I DON’T want to sit in line at Chick-fil-a for 20 minutes.
I DON’T want to spend 30 minutes picking out meals in an app only to find out it’s going to arrive in 90 minutes, probably be wrong and cost as much as my electric bill.
That’s where Eat Dinner Club came in to save Tuesday.
Here’s how it works:
1. On Thursday of the week before I choose what I want to eat the following week from local restaurants. Eat Dinner Club recommends a handful of great options based on dietary preferences, what I’ve chosen before and what’s trending. If I’m not a fan of those I pick between 40+ other awesome dishes.
2. I select a 30-minute window that my meals will be delivered hot and fresh.
3. Viola. Dinner is done.
NO subscription fees.
NO delivery fees.
NO tip requests.
Eat Dinner Club helped me take back Tuesday. Now I get home and my dinner is waiting on the porch for us to gobble up. That gives me an extra hour with my family. It may not seem like much, but in our chaotic life, that hour means the world.
