Now they are old enough to start learning about the brands and businesses they love and we are lucky to have some amazing companies in our backyard (hello Home Depot, Coca-Cola, and Chick-fil-A!). I love introducing the kids to the “how it all started” stories – amazing companies don’t become the rockstars they are today overnight. They typically start with a person with a passion. An “origin story” as my son (who watches ALL of the superhero movies) would call it.
I recently discovered that Chick-fil-A offers a behind-the-scenes tour at their headquarters. We have our tour scheduled for later this month and are so excited to learn more about the origin of this great Atlanta brand and how it grew into the company they are today.
