Kindergarten Readiness
Our program lets parents & students take control of the early learning preparation process. We target children in preschool & kindergarten to build strong cognitive foundations & toned minds. The one-on-one instruction we provide creates teachable, confident students, ready to thrive in any academic setting.
Your Pie is a new-fashioned pizza parlor where everyone gets to direct the making of their own personal pizza. There are dozens of crusts, cheeses and toppings to choose from. You can select from a few favorite combinations on their menu if you can’t decide. There are also paninis and salads. Every Wednesday night is trivia and wine night featuring $3 glasses of wine and $15 bottles of wine. Every Thursday is Pi(e)nt Night featuring $3.14 pints of beer. Their beer menu features a great mix of local favorites and national brands. Finish off your meal with a cup of gelato from their freezer. Your Pie is super kid-friendly! The restaurant has a few TVs, usually tuned to sports, and a patio for al fresco enjoyment of your pizza.
Growing Musicians LLC offers Kindermusik classes, Playdates, & birthday parties to families with babies, toddlers, & preschoolers. Kindermusik classes are research-based, music-and-movement classes that support whole child development while building a solid foundation for success. A private non-profit Nature Center located on the Chattahoochee River in Roswell on a beautiful site comprised of 127 acres of native plants and gardens showcasing the beauty of Georgia. Our Discovery Center, with the southeast’s only Nature Exchange, the Cowie Weiss theater and hands on exhibits that feature live non-releasable native wildlife; plus our River Boardwalk, Woodland Trails and Wildlife Walks are home to over 50 species of wildlife. For almost 40 years, this facility has continued to grow and reach out to citizens as a place to explore new ideas and expand their awareness of the natural world. Morningside Day Out (MDO) is an independent not-for-profit school. We’ve been providing high quality secular early education programs for 40 years. Our half-day classes and summer camps welcome students from 6-months through Pre-K.
We believe that children are naturally curious and that they learn best through play. All of our classes are half-day programs, running from 9am-1pm. During this time, students alternate between structured teacher-led activities and free play. They sing and dance, do art projects and science experiments, read and listen to books, engage in sensory play, practice age-appropriate early literacy and math skills, do show-and-tell, and play outside on the playground or in one of our indoor play spaces.
