DESCRIPTION:CARE – the Atlanta-based humanitarian organization – is inviting the public to join a free community volunteer event on Saturday\, June 20\, from noon to 4 PM hosted at popup space LikeMinds ATL (formerly BrewDog) on the Beltline (112 Krog St. NE). \nStop by anytime to help pack CARE PACKAGE kits filled with essential hygiene supplies for families across the US recovering from hurricanes\, floods\, wildfires and other disasters. No experience needed! Just show up\, pack the supplies\, and be part of something meaningful. \nCARE is aiming to prepare at least 2\,000 of these kits in a single afternoon\, carrying forward a legacy that began 80 years ago when CARE delivered its first CARE PACKAGE boxes to families recovering from World War II in Europe. \nAs a bonus\, LikeMinds ATL will have the World Cup on screen and there will be games and giveaways throughout the afternoon! \nThis event is free and open to everyone.
